Rivers of Light 2025 Success

On Saturday 22nd February, over 200 people came together to walk part of Newmarket’s Chalk Stream to celebrate and to help protect the area. During the lead up a huge litter pick was organised to clear the area up. During the day of the parade, families made illuminated crowns to wear on the walk.

The stream was beautifully illuminated and the parade was lead by New Samba Band and Richard Wood provided live music in Studlands Social Club afterwards.
