Feb 2025 – Rivers of Light Success

On Sat 22nd Feb we held our 3rd Rivers of Light parade to celebrate our chalk streams and create awareness about the area and ways to protect our rare streams.

Over 200 people attended and the parade was led by New Samba Band with Richard Wood providing live entertainment at Studlands Social Club. The SOS also attended and families made illuminated crowns during the day to wear on the parade.

Rivers of Light Film Premiere

In December the documentary Rivers of Light by James Murray-White was premiered at The Stable and over 70 people attended the screening and the question and answer session afterwards.
